Elixir expands to Doncaster

The new PVCU recycling depot is now open for business in Doncaster employing 85 young people in Doncaster

We now employ 85 young people helping them get back into work after being unemployed for 6 months or more.  Every employee has embarked on an NVQ level 2 qualification, 30 of which will acheive their fork lift truck licence.  All 85 people have just completed the Elixir pathway which encompasses basic hand tools training, manual handling, health and safety, industrial platform scales, metals identification and other key skills courses to competently work in the recycling industry.  To continue the skill improvement program we start 1st aid courses in June 2010.
