Sean, 23

After spending 2 years in prison Sean was determined to find a job that would allow him to turn his life around, but found himself out of work for nearly 12 months.

Sean volunteered with Elixir and soon demonstrated a passion for the organisation and pride in his job, putting in extra effort to fulfil contract requirements.  Sean is now employed by Elixir as a supervisor, overseeing up to 20 technicians and has recently qualified for his fork lift truck licence.

Sean said

“Working with Elixir has changed my life and changed me as a person.  I don’t get into trouble anymore.  This job has made a big difference to my life.  I can now provide for my young son and help my grandad with his shopping.  It’s so nice to have a few quid in my pocket.  I feel so positive now and it’s rewarding to know there is a potential career ahead of me and if I ever leave this company I’ll have certificates, experience and qualifications.”
